I got my start as a blogger, with my social commentary blog, Britical ('British, critical, and a wee bit brutal..') As a regular guest commentator on SiriusXM live radio, I also got to write my own script, exploring such culturally relevant topics as James Bond, the science of love, and the etiquette of texting.
Since then, I have worn a lot of hats!
In 2017 my first novel was published (pseudonymously!). An ELLE BOOK OF THE MONTH, it was also nominated for the AUTHORS' CLUB BEST FIRST NOVEL AWARD 2018. Most recently I was writer and Story Editor for movie A SON OF MAN, chosen as an official entry in the foreign-language category for the 2019 Oscars.
I also did a stint as a SAR professional, specializing in remote environments and urban mass-casualty disaster scenarios (not as much fun as it sounds).
Which is how I ended up dogsledding across the Wilderness Boundary Waters of Minnesota, to camp solo with one packet of Ramen Noodles, eight waterproof matches and a few wolves for company.
Since then, I've worked with the large and the not-so-large, from multi-billion-dollar projects to teeny-tiny startups and non-profits. I'm happy to chat about your upcoming project – bonus points if it includes Conversation Design, how to bring F1 to NYC, or *what constitutes the perfect slice of toast.
